I had so much fun making our costumes this year! I'm a fire fighter and Mackenzie is the station dalmation. :)

I bought my hat on ebay, and used a black jacket, yellow duct tape, and color copies to make a jacket with stripes, a flag and a firefighter logo.

Mackenzie's white sweater and pants were spotted black by yours truly, and I sewed on ears and a tail as well. Just a bit of black grease paint on the nose, since I knew she'd be rubbing her face lots.

We were on a road trip for the week of Halloween and had the good fortune to run into some firefighters extinguishing the bonfire at a small town Halloween celebration (in Palmyra, NY). They invited us on board the truck for some photos. So fun!
